Gather all the ingredients and utensils needed to make the recipe and place them on the counter before you start to prepare your meal.

Anything you can prepare the night before or in advance is a bonus when you lack time or come home tired. Our Express Spinach and Cheese Lasagne recipe is a perfect make-ahead dish. Simply bake and cool the lasagne; pack in an airtight container or freezer wrap and freeze for up to one month. To reheat, remove the lasagne from the wrapping and pop in the oven or microwave and heat through.

When preparing a pasta casserole or toss that includes hearty vegetables like broccoli or carrots, a quick way to cook these vegetables is to add them to the boiling pasta during the last few minutes of the cooking time.

If you are in a pinch for time, our pasta can be precooked the day before you want to use it. Cook the pasta according to our package directions. Drain and toss the pasta with a small amount of oil; cool. Place the cooked pasta in an airtight container or cover with plastic wrap, and store in the refrigerator until ready to use. To reheat, simply simmer the pasta in sauce or place in simmering water for 60-90 seconds.
